With
the assistance of Christian Blind Mission (CBM), 120 patients from Heshun, Shanxi
province, suffering from cataracts have been cured through surgical operation.
This project has extended practical training for eye doctors, in addition to
some essential surgical equipment provided by CBM. By now, the local eye doctors
have basically mastered the technique of articial lens operation. In addition,
this project has also benefited neighbouring counties and cities.
